Gumbo YaYa!

Gumbo YaYa - an auto awesome video compiled from Google Glass footage and photos that I captured while my wife and I made gumbo in the kitchen. Auto awesome for video is a great new feature of Google+ that was released recently. It takes video and photos that you take with your Android device or Google Glass, and does an automatic mash-up including music. And it works quite well!

Google Glass Adventures - National September 11 Memorial

Google Glass Adventures are slideshows created with photos and videos created exclusively using Google Glass. This is the fourth in the series and all photos and videos were taken using Google Glass as we visited September 11th Memorial in NYC.

It was a very reflective visit as I viewed the site of this tragic event. As you look around, you almost try to "feel" the moment, the events, the thoughts of the people, as many would lose their lives on that fateful day. I paused for a moment of silence as I paid my respects, both to the victims and to those brave first responders who entered into harms way.

“Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, the funerals of the children.” -President George W. Bush, November 11, 2001
