UPDATE XE11 RELEASED TODAY

The Glass team released the next update for Glass, XE11, today. It introduces several new features such as:

Get Directions to Home and Work - label "home" and "work" locations in Google Maps and Glass will automatically recognize these by those labels. Just say "Ok Glass, Get directions to Home", and it will give navigation directions from your current location.

Personalized Calendar Search - If you use Google Calendar as your daily planner, you can now check your schedule by voice command through Glass. Say something similar to "Ok Glass, Google" and once the search card comes up say "What's on my agenda today?", and Glass will return your items scheduled on your calendar. Note: Calendar search works for Google Calendar users with Gmail and private search enabled .

Additional features of the update included a new Glass introduction for new Glass Explorers, a shortcut to the MyGlass screen casting feature directly from your Android notification drawer, and they also removed the "long press" activation of Google search in Glass.

All in all, it was a good update. The Glass support team continues to add fresh new features to Google Glass each month. I can't wait to see what's next!
